All the training, the efforts, and mostly, the time that one puts towards developing in a career is, at best, academic if it doesn’t produce results. ACT is specific to producing results for working actors. Our end result is simple and clear, paychecks. Call us shallow, but our students making money is that to which we feel obligated.
Here are just a few of the paychecks earned recently by ACT graduates and current students:

C. Ashleigh Caldwell |
I owe an incredible amount of gratitude to the class you created! Through your class I learned exactly what I was doing in an audition, what I look like, how to fill the frame, make interesting choices, wear the right cloths, feel at ease in the interview, walk into the room with confidence, and book the office. I was also able to narrow down my "type" and bring the essential parts of me to each audition. I LOVE auditioning and put effort and thought into each one. I hope that actors realize the value in investing in your course. My investment continues to pay off daily.
I would like to add that I HUSTLE for myself. I book almost all of this work myself through Actors Access and LA Casting. I do not rely on my agent and wait for phone calls. I submit myself daily and maintain my relationships with casting directors and with the production teams I work with. Since class I have done the following: signed with Daniel Hoff Commercially, signed with AKA talent for voice over and been cast in 22 parts in Commercials, Feature films, Web Series, Voice Overs and the list is growing.
Your course gave me the tools for success and my hard work and ability to utilize those tools daily is building my career.
Thank You very much!
(April 2010 - Graduate Fall 2008)

Jeremiah Bitsui |
Jeremiah came to ACT in the Fall of 2004. While in class, Jeremiah had a huge audition, if you consider auditions for Steven Spielberg huge. ACT worked with Jeremiah for more than 3 months before he landed a significant role in the made for TV series "Into the West." Our motto is One audition can and will change your life forever. Jeremiah has since booked on 80% of roles when he has a private coaching with ACT. Jeremiah's new maroon Jaguar is a testament to our motto.
"Thank you so much for your training program. I got the part as RED TOMAHAWK in Steven Spielberg's mini-series INTO THE WEST! I use to always joke around and act cocky but you know me. I made really great friends while I learned things that boosted my skill and abilities. With every opportunity I feel more and more humble. God Bless you, and the team and your dream! I've just been booked in Academy Award winning Jim Sheridan's latest feature Brothers, along side Jake Gyllenhaal and Tobey Maguire. I'm going to be playing a cop that use to serve under Tobey Maguire in the military, I'm so excited. But was very shocked because out of all the most recent auditions I thought I done well and didn't get, this one I totally thought I flubbed. But I just used my training... still paying off! "

I Before I trained with ACT I was booking a few parts here & there. After training with ACT I have booked, booked and booked more. I am now a series regular on the CW's "Easy Money". I play Cherise Buffkin, the show's Lady Macbeth, and I'm really having a great time with this character. I am so comfortable in front of a camera and on set that it just keeps getting better and better. Thank so very much!"
My training at ACT has been purely inspirational. The coaches are top-notch and really opened my eyes to what has been missing from my performance. In the past, I always had a bit of "pre-class dread" and apprehension. Throughout the curriculum at ACT, I never once had that feeling and found myself eager to soak up the valuable training that they offer. It is infinitely important for an actor, who wants to work in film and television, to be able to use their emotional training, but to also anchor it with solid camera technique. I believe the ACT approach has given me tools that will take me to the next level in my career. I booked 3 national commercials and several other roles during and after my training and am getting more callbacks than ever! Many thanks to Tim, Frank, Tony and Kevin.... I am infinitely grateful.

"Big" LeRoy Mobley |
It doesn't take much to understand the nickname for "BIG" LeRoy Mobley. Everything about the guy is grand. What stands out most is his leadership skills, as he became the head of his class on the first day. His one of a kind talent in front of the camera is mesmerizing. We are thrilled to have guided him to the right path of development that has landed him recurring roles on some shows and big paydays from national commercials.
"... I came to ACT for their workshop and realized that since I started acting, November 2001, all that I have been doing in Hollywood was getting lucky by chance. ACT humbled me and gave me the tools to get hired and rehired. Terra [The woman who introduced me to ACT.] has officially made my Christmas list. The way I feel now about my career is that the only competition to me is another ACT student."

Sharon Brathwaite |
Sharon is an amazing actor and was the ideal candidate for ACT. The program is intended for those actors who are still in the relationship building phase of their career. ACT created a framework for Sharon upon which to deliver her tremendous talent. The result is an increased ability to book work steadily through the hiring process.
"ACT questioned answered. What's one of the goals of an actor? To be re-hired. I had a really great time on "Everyone Hates Chris". Stayed professional and cordial. I had lines changed on set BY ONE OF THE CREATORS and nailed them. Someone started to talk with me on set, I had no idea who they were, but I stayed cheery and had nice small talk - it was a producer. At the end of the day the director came up to me and thanked me for doing such excellent work. The next day I got the call that they wanted me back again the next week - I work this Wednesday. I didn't write this to brag. I wrote this to thank ACT for giving me the tools to be prepared at all times and to have professional set etiquette."
"... While taking the class, my audition skills grew immensely. I booked back-to back-to back jobs as a result. My only regret is that I didn’t meet you in the beginning of my career. J I am certain I would be light years ahead in my success by now. ... ACT is more than a school – it’s a FAMILY! ... WE NEED YOU! HOLLYWOOD NEEDS YOU!"

Sheila Shaw |
Sheila is a phenomenal talent, but at first glance, one is overwhelmed by her tremendous heart, disarming wit and deeply warming smile. She came to us wanting to eliminate her camera audition inconsistencies. We told her on day one that after the course she would be more comfortable auditioning with a camera than without. The proof is the pudding, or in Sheila's case the paychecks.
"... I needed the skills to feel comfortable and look the best I possibly could on that little camera. Well, I definitely learned that at ACT, along with a whole lot more. I didn't realize how much I DIDN'T KNOW about the camera. Regarding framing, what a difference a small head turn or eye angle can make in conveying emotions on camera. Since completing the course I have booked three jobs within a few months. One commercial and two television guest spots, and my confidence level at producer sessions has soared. The camera technique course at ACT is worth every second you spend there.
I have had more auditions than ever before... Ugly Betty, ER, Boston Public and Cold Case. I'm still in the mix for Boston Legal and ER called me for another part for producers next Wednesday but we have to cancel because it would shoot the same day as "Mad Men". Very exciting....it's going to be a good season.
NO DOUBT IN MY MIND THE TIME SPENT AT ACT IS MAKING THE DIFFERENCE! I'm so grateful. xxoo "

Yennifer Behrens |
Yennifer is infectious. Her energy and spirit alone is enough to want her on set. Once you realize that she maintains the grace and skill to fully bring forth a director's vision, she simply knocks your socks off. It has been our pleasure to provide the structure for Yennifer to place her one of a kind talent onto which now allows for the very best of her at all times.
"As an ACT graduate, I am proud to say, I miss the studio and everyone in it. It changed my life, my perspective and my process. ... SO much is covered with such passion at ACT it should become a requirement or pre-requisite to join SAG and/or AFTRA. I have been a working actor since 1993 and after graduating from ACT my game plan is so specific, it allows me to get out of my head and enjoy the auditioning process. I DARE YOU TO Challenge yourself!"

"I auditioned for Cold Case 8 times and had several call backs and put on "avail" most times. I was in the middle of the ACT program when I got another Cold Case audition. I went in for private coaching and because of it I booked the job!! The episode ended up being a major character for me giving me Top-of-Show credit and 8 days of episodic work. The ACT Instructors are amazing and I cannot say Thank You enough."

Mario Piccirillo |
Mario is the sort of passionate character who throws himself wholeheartedly into whatever he does. We're very pleased that he decided to throw his hat into training to be one of Hollywood's best trained camera actors. His willingness to continue to improve landed him a co-starring role merely weeks into the program. His commitment to excellence is a shining light for us all to follow.
"Ciao Everyone!! I'm Mario Piccirillo...still in Camera Class, and just booked a Co-Star in 'Mad Men'...Just read this short info.: Do you really want to work as a professional actor in L.A.? Ijeoma Njaka |
The first thing you notice about Ijeoma is how utterly professional she is. Everything about her is surrounded by confidence, competence, and capability. We knew right away, that she is the epitome of the individual who will take our training and soar. Our opinion of her was validated when she booked her VERY FIRST audition for film -OR- television [CSI:NY] utilizing our training and private coaching. Hat's off, Ijeoma!
"This course is exactly what I was looking for! I have been working as a professional singer for more than 10 years and really wanted to make the transition into film and television. A.C.T. gave me the skills and the confidence to book my first TV co-star role [CSI:NY] from my very first audition! They coached me on my sides before the audition. The casting director told me my audition was 'PERFECT'! This course is a must for any actor who is serious about acting in film and TV."

Kyra Da Costa |
Kyra came to us with an extensive and successful Broadway career. We were blown away by her immense talent and charm. The challenge for theater actors is the radical contradictions between backstage and the back lot. The actors that overcome this challenge are those who can quickly develop an acute awareness and deep relationship with camera lenses. With the most specific camera training in 50 years, ACT provides the guidance for moving into a solid film & television career. Kyra is the case in point.
"As a working Broadway actress for the past several years, I find that ACT is an excellent program. ... I feel better prepared for all aspects of the film and television industry. I highly recommend this class for all levels of actors. It is like no other acting class in Hollywood!"

Miles Watson |
Miles is one of those guys you just love to work with. He has an awesome sense of humor, and a very humble nature. Being a working actor who was exposed to the worst shortcomings of union work stoppages, Miles is one of those people who has "been there and back." We wanted to send Miles back there. After a couple of private coachings, and the course in it's entirety, Miles is back on set making money. Cheers!
"With free coaching from the instructors at ACT, I booked a recurring role on a pilot for TNT, called THE LINE-UP, while still an introductory student at ACT. While I was working and studying at ACT, producers and directors and casting agents began to take notice of the place and visit frequently, looking at and assessing the talent on-hand, the students."

John Dicus |
Most acting jobs only last a short time, a day or less. Sometimes you'll spend less time before the camera than you spent in the Casting Office. With so many people competing for the same job, it makes sense to be a 'bit ahead of the curve' when compared to the 'rank and file'...ACT gives direct valuable tips and training in interview technique to help you get the job.
"ACT training helped me get all the work I have gotten. I am able to enter a casting director's office properly and confident that I will make a favorable impression. I actually enjoy interviewing now, and don't get that 'pit in the gut' feeling. ACT training taught me a lot about the film industry, in fact I found the whole process so interesting I found myself getting occasional work as a grip just so I can see more 'behind the scenes' action. From there I have gone to learning about audio and lighting. But through it all, the ACT information started me out in the film industry in the right way."
